Intellectual property and image rights

This page explains who owns the content, brand and design of Yutemi, what you may do with them and how we handle images of people.
Who owns what
Emanuel Álvarez Sánchez owns, or is licensed to use, everything that makes up Yutemi:
- the Yutemi name and brand, the logo and the app icon;
- the design of the app and of this site: screens, colors, icons, illustrations and their layout;
- the source code and executable code of the app and the site;
- the texts, journal questions, screenshots and documentation.
All of this is protected by Colombian copyright and industrial property law (including Law 23 of 1982 and Andean Decisions 351 and 486) and by the international treaties that apply in your country. Using the app or the site gives you no rights over these elements, except as set out below.
What you may do
- View the site and download or print its legal documents for your personal use.
- Link to any page of the site.
- Quote short passages, stating that they come from Yutemi.
- Talk about Yutemi in reviews, articles or social media using its name and unmodified screenshots, as long as you do not suggest that we sponsor you or that you speak on our behalf.
What needs our written permission
- Copying, reproducing, distributing, selling or modifying the app, the site or their contents, or creating derivative works.
- Using the name, brand, logo or icon on products, apps, domains, profiles or advertising.
- Decompiling or reverse engineering the app, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Extracting content from the site automatically or in bulk.

Your content
What you write and create in Yutemi (tasks, projects, habits, journal and the rest) is yours. You only give us permission to store it, sync it and show it to you, which is what is needed to provide the service. More details in the Terms of use.
Image rights
- The site and the app do not publish photos or videos of real people. The names and examples shown in screenshots are fictitious.
- If we ever publish a person's image, voice or testimonial, it will be with their prior, express and written permission, only for the use and period they accept, and they may withdraw it whenever they want.
- We never use your image, your name or your content for advertising without your consent.
Third-party elements
- The Plus Jakarta Sans font is used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
- App Store, Apple and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google Play and Android are trademarks of Google LLC. They are mentioned only to say where the app is available.
If you think we infringe your rights
If you think something in the app or on the site infringes your copyright, trademark or image, write to support@yutemi.app with your contact details, which work or right it is, where it appears and why you believe it is infringed. We will review it and, where appropriate, remove or correct it.

Change log
- : The site adopts the Yutemi name and updates the contact details, Supabase region and list of configured providers.
- : Privacy: your account emails (confirmation and password recovery) are sent through Resend, and accounts whose email isn't confirmed within 7 days are deleted automatically.
- : Privacy: your phone's calendar (optional) is read only on your phone and never uploaded; each day's plan is stored with your schedule.
- : New pages: your rights over your data (with a form), cookies, legal notice, intellectual property and refunds. Terms: user sign-up and current Free plan limits (no history limit). Privacy: rights under the GDPR.
